Counting down the days

The other day Owen and I stopped in at Starbucks for a blueberry muffin, which you can see all over his teeth! Nice! We're all getting pretty anxious around here! About 9 more days till my scheduled c-section. Just trying to keep busy and wrap up last minute tasks. We've been having lots of play dates with friends and family to help pass the days. So, thanks to everybody out there who either came to visit us or let us come visit them! This has helped me immensely. Tomorrow is my last doctor's appointment (yay!).

My sister-in-law Donna had her baby girl last Friday. Lila weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces. We've been to see her twice since she was born, and it's gotten us really excited and ready for our own arrival! Hopefully we'll have some news of our own to post about soon! Keep us in your prayers.

Baby Shower & Other Happenings

A week ago my sister-in-law Donna hosted a baby shower for me at her house. It was really nice and a great way to celebrate this new baby boy that will be coming very soon. As you can see from our picture together below, we are both enduring our 2nd pregnancies together. She's due any day now with baby Lila, so we're all anxious about that. Keep us both in your prayers! Anyway, the shower was wonderful with great friends and yummy food from Patch Manor.

And, of course, couldn't have a post without some Owen pictures, right? Here's one of him before church last Sunday. Another one playing outside in his pool, and lastly, one of him at the dentist. This was the first time he'd had a real cleaning and checkup at the dentist, and he did so great! No tears or fussing at all! We were so proud of him. And, best of all, no cavities!

Hope everyone had a great 4th of July! We took Owen to our town's parade. It was mostly just fire trucks and motorcycles, but, of course, he was excited. The sirens were really loud, so Owen was ready to go pretty quick. Wish I had gotten some pictures, but I was secluded to a nice, shady spot away from the crowds while Daddy and Owen watched the parade up close.
