Quick Update

Don't have much time, but wanted to post a quick update and some recent pictures. Luke will be 1 month old on Monday. I'll take him to the doctor that day for a check-up. He's still not sleeping well. We're lucky to get a 1 1/2 hour stretch of continuous sleep out of him at night. He was really, really fussy this last week, which prompted me to call the doctor. Sometimes he would cry 2 hours straight and feeding him was the only thing that would calm him down. We were giving him 2-3 ounces of formula every 2-3 hours. A nurse called me back and told us to feed him no more than 2 ounces at a time and try to burp him really well. So, we've been doing that since Thursday afternoon. But, he's so hungry! You can hear his little belly growling and hear the milk shoot straight thru when he drinks! Since we've started giving him less, he's now eating pretty much every 2 hours on the dot. Hoping to get better answers about what to do at our doctor's appt. Monday. Keep praying for us! Thanks to everyone for all the advice and comments of encouragement. That really helps us to know people are thinking and praying for us during this sleep-deprived and stressful time!
