Super Brief Book Review

Okay, for days now, I've been meaning to post about this book, but I haven't had the time to really do it justice. Plus, this week is spring break, which means no Mothers Day Out for Owen and no free time for Mommy, so I'll have to keep this review short and sweet.

I liked it. A lot. Thought it was very inventive and original. It's about an orphaned girl growing up with foster parents in Nazi Germany. Very heavy stuff. Oh, yeah, and did I mention the narrator is "Death"? Yep, death. Surprisingly, though, there are many light-hearted moments and humorous parts. So, I would highly recommend this. Wish I had time to write more and be profound, but I've got to go lay down and rest while Owen is napping. We're in Day 1 of my mission to potty train him over his break. So far, we've had 3 successes and 2 accidents.
