We let Owen put up our little tree in his room this year and decorate it himself. We made paper ornaments. He was so proud! I guess Luke will need his own tree too eventually...Anyway, Owen REALLY got into Christmas and Santa this year. He has tons of questions about Santa. Where will he land his sleigh? How does he see me? What does he do AFTER Christmas? And on and on. Kept Mommy on her toes for sure! On Christmas Eve I had a hard time getting him to calm down and go to sleep. It was super windy outside, and he kept telling me he heard Santa on the roof! Then, right when he started to go to sleep, the wind knocked some siding off our house right outside his room. Yikes! Took awhile to get him calmed down again after that.
Christmas morning Owen woke up about ten minutes till 6:00 am. I didn't care because I had already been up with Luke since 5 am. So, we woke up Daddy and started opening presents. This big present had been under the tree for Owen for about a week, and it had been driving him nuts not being able to open it. It was a big "Cargo King" truck that hauls matchbox cars. His other big present was a shake-n-go racetrack. His favorite stocking stuffers were a new Spiderman toothbrush and some glow sticks.
Luke is about the same size as his Christmas stocking! He, of course, didn't have a clue what was going on this year. So, we let Owen open up most of his presents for him. Luke got some books, squishy blocks, jingle balls, and a piggy bank. In his stocking he got some baby food!
